The ethereal fragrance of gardenia blossoms is well known, making it a favorite of florists and perfumers. Whether shaped into a decorative tree or grown as a shrub, like this one from Alder & Oak, gardenias require less maintenance than you might expect. This two- to three-year-old plant arrives in a plastic grow pot ready to be placed in the ideal location.

Care

• Upon receipt, carefully unbox tree and place in sunny location and water thoroughly.
• Water regularly.
• May be planted in ground or in a pot twice the size of the root ball; should be transplanted into a larger pot within 3 months of receipt.
• Plant in organically rich soil with good drainage.
• Prefers full to part sun.
• Prune as needed to maintain shape.
• With proper care, this shrub will live for 15 years or more.

Within 30 days, you may return most items for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request). Please note that returned items must be in new condition.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food or on items damaged through normal wear and tear.
