Mauviel Copper Potato Steamer

More than simply beautiful, this conical copper vessel is both an efficient steamer for potatoes and other vegetables as well as a striking serving piece. The design is ingenious – water boils quickly in the narrow rounded base, while the unique trophy shape allows steam to constantly circulate around food. Steaming is faster than boiling, and potatoes stay above the water for the most tender, delicious results.

Use

• Ideal for gas and electric cooktops (not induction compatible).
• Oven safe to 425°F.
• To protect tin lining from damage, do not heat pot empty.
• Use wood, plastic and heat-resistant nylon tools to avoid scratching tin lining.

Care

• Allow pot to cool before washing.
• Hand-wash; dry immediately with soft cloth.
• Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads and harsh detergents.
• Copper will develop rich patina over time. This will not affect pan's cooking performance. To keep exterior looking new, use copper polish or combination of lemon and salt.
• Tin lining protects food from reacting with copper but will become discolored over time. This is normal. Depending on frequency of use and type of food cooked, tin lining may eventually have to be replaced. To prolong usefulness, avoid cooking acidic ingredients in tin-lined cookware.

For an additional charge of $26 per address, we can expedite delivery to most destinations. Return Policy

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

Within 30 days, you may return most items for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request). Please note that returned items must be in new condition.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food or on items damaged through normal wear and tear.
