French Lavender

A timeless favorite for flowerbeds, planters, borders and culinary and apothecary gardens, French lavender is a hardy, drought-tolerant perennial that produces wonderfully aromatic leaves and blossoms. It thrives in warmer climates, is simple to care for and great for cooking, making soap and potpourri, and drying. The lavender is grown by Alder & Oak, a family-owned nursery that emphasizes sustainability and land stewardship as well as unsurpassed quality.

• Produces subtly aromatic, dark-purple flower buds crowned with light-purple petals from May through July.
• Ideal for culinary use, potpourri, soap-making and drying for decorative use.
• Starter plants are suitable for small planters, window boxes and indoor culinary gardens.
• Large plant is suitable for patio planters and outdoor gardens and beds.
• 6"–12" lavender plants arrive in a plastic four-pack, ready for potting.
• 12"–24" single lavender shrub arrives in a planting pot.
• Grows up to 3' high in a pot or in the ground (prune spent blooms regularly).

Care

• Carefully unpack lavender upon arrival.
• Find a full-sun location where lavender can receive as much natural light as possible.
• Water thoroughly upon arrival. Lavender is drought-tolerant and requires minimal watering once planted.
• Plant in organically rich soil with good drainage.
• Prune spent blooms regularly.
• If you prefer to plant tree in the ground, pick a well-drained location that receives full sun and follow the simple instructions on the included planting card.

Return Policy

At Williams Sonoma, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety and construction are our priority. Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage; we will arrange for a prompt replacement.

Within 30 days, you may return most items for a refund of the merchandise value. An original receipt or gift receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns with a gift receipt will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the amount indicated on the gift receipt. Returns with original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment, cash and check refunds over $100 will be issued as a company check (may take 14 business days from time of request). Please note that returned items must be in new condition.

We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, special-order items, custom upholstery, food or on items damaged through normal wear and tear. Final sale items ending in .97, .98 or .99 cannot be returned. We also cannot accept returns of any food products, which are considered final sale items.

Made to Order and Final Sale Furniture items are non-returnable and cannot be cancelled once the order is placed.
