Gluten-Free Three-Layer Chocolate Cake, Serves 16-22

Gwendolyn Rogers' award-winning Cake Bake Shop is famous for its classic chocolate cake – and this gluten-free version lives up to the bakery's stellar reputation in a big way. The delicious dessert is handmade with three light, lofty layers of gluten-free Valrhona chocolate cake with Callebaut Belgian chocolate ganache filling. The cake is ribbon-frosted with Italian meringue Madagascar vanilla buttercream, then crowned with buttercream rosettes, chocolate flakes and shimmering golden Pixie Glitter®. It arrives beautifully packaged in the bakery's signature pink cake box.

• Gluten-free; this product is prepared and packaged using machines that may come in contact with wheat/gluten.
• Shipped frozen.

Receiving Instructions

• The cake is shipped frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal.
  
• Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.
  
• Upon receipt, remove cake from shipping box and store in freezer for up to 3 months, or defrost in refrigerator overnight and keep for up to 4 days.

Serving Instructions

• The cake is best enjoyed at room temperature.
  
• Remove plastic from cake while it is still frozen.
  
• Defrost in refrigerator overnight. Once thawed, remove from box and allow cake to come to room temperature, approx. 2–4 hours before serving.
  
• To serve, run large knife under hot water and dry with towel before every slice.
  
• Store leftover cake in an airtight container in the refrigerator, where it will keep for up to 2 days.
