A classic harvest combo of sweet maple and warm autumn spices, including cinnamon and allspice, our exclusive Spiced Maple Carrot Seasoning makes it easy to prepare your best-ever roast carrots with only a few minutes of prep time. Here we’ve also used baby turnips and brussels sprouts for an autumnal side that’s perfect for the Thanksgiving table.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. (500 g) small carrots, peeled, tops trimmed to 1/2 inch (12 mm)
  • 1 lb. (500 g) baby turnips, tops trimmed to 1/2 inch (12 mm)
  • 1 lb. (500 g) brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 Tbs. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. Spiced Maple Carrot Seasoning, plus more as needed

Directions:

Preheat an oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, combine the carrots, turnips and brussels sprouts. Add the olive oil and toss to coat. Add the seasoning and toss to combine, adding more as needed to lightly coat the vegetables.

Spread the vegetables in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Roast until the vegetables are tender, 25 to 30 minutes, turning them once about halfway through the cooking time. Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately. Serves 8.
