Our Mediterranean-inspired menu is perfect for celebrating the end of summer with family and friends. We chose recipes that are quick to prepare, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the gathering.
When your guests arrive, offer them two simple appetizers: olives with rosemary and orange zest plus caprese skewers, which combine vine-ripened cherry tomatoes with chunks of mozzarella cheese, fresh basil leaves and fruity olive oil. They couldn't be easier to make, or more delicious. The main course features lamb burgers seasoned with cumin, coriander, cayenne and other Moroccan spices. Grilled to juicy perfection, the burgers are tucked inside pita bread and garnished with yogurt and chopped tomatoes. An olive oil cake with summer fruit is an easy finale to this late-summer meal.
